The senior graphic design & studio showcase, “Studio ‘23” is now on display at the Lore Degenstein Gallery.

The gallery opened on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. with an opening reception. Seniors stood by their exhibitions as friends, family, other students and the public walked through and admired their work.

This exhibition happens every spring to highlight the hard work and accomplishments of Susquehanna’s senior graphic design and studio art majors. This year, it showcases the work of 16 graphic design and studio art majors.

The gallery shows a variety of pieces that the seniors have been working on since their first-year at Susquehanna University. Exhibitions from graphic design majors include designs for various products including, but not limited to, bottle labels, book covers, magazine layouts and so much more. The studio art majors had a wide variety of mediums from photography to portraits and paintings.

“All of these seniors are so talented,” said sophomore graphic design major, Emily Nagy who came to the opening reception to support those in her major. “I am excited for my chance to show off my hard work to my friends and family in the senior showcase when I am a senior.”

The senior showcase will be up until April 9 and is open to anyone for free from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day. Visitors are always welcome to see the hard work the seniors have put into the exhibition.
