Another year another Halloween, and with that comes the only part this spooky season that actually matters, the costumes!  Trying to decide on a Halloween costume is arguably one of the most difficult tasks known to man. Not to mention the amount of time and effort that goes into getting the costume together; especially if you’re doing group costumes, that just adds a whole other layer of stress to the event. Fortunately, it’s too late to dwell on that anymore as Halloween is right around the corner! So, whatever you have in your closet, whether it be a white sheet with two holes or a borderline cosplay, you better be ready to show out.

Seeing the mass amount of popular media that has been pumped out this year, it’s safe to expect some recognizable faces during your safe and school approved Halloween activities. With the recent resurgence of the Scooby Doo franchise, the whole mystery gang should be out and about. Velma seems the most popular of the gang as of late. Netflix is practically handing out costumes this year. The iconic return of Stranger Things and peoples unconditional love of Eddie Munson, you should expect to see a lot of Hellfire Club shirts, but try not to get too close, some people say they’re dangerous. Speaking of streaming services, HBO had their unforgettable second season of Euphoria this year, so there will definitely be people continuing to ride that high. In a metaphorical sense, of course.

Well, whatever you chose to dress up as, whether it be the classic Ghost Face Killer or a minor character from that super obscure and niche French film you and your two friends watched last month, we all at The Quill hope you have a safe and fun filled Halloweekend.
