What are you most looking forward to on campus this semester with fall seasons being suspended?

“I’m looking forward to seeing my friends all the time after being abroad last semester and to practice with my teammates to prepare for a possible spring season.”

What is your favorite sports memory playing at Susquehanna?

“My favorite memory is beating Catholic University 2-1 in the Landmark Conference semifinal game on their field my junior season. This was my favorite sports moment because after this win we made it to the conference finals for a second straight year.”

Looking back on the past three seasons would you change anything about your time being a student-athlete at Susquehanna and why?

“I think I would have stepped up earlier as a player and have been less timid because looking back there really wasn’t anything to be afraid of. Overall my past three seasons have been unforgettable and the friends I have made playing here at Susquehanna play a huge part in this.”

What were you feeling when you found out fall seasons were being suspended?

“I was crushed when I found out there would be no senior season, but I am very hopeful for a spring field hockey season. Hopefully the work we put into practice this fall will carry over to the spring and we get to have a senior season modified or not.”

How has playing this sport affected you for your future?

“Playing field hockey has definitely helped me work with a team and be more solution focused. Field hockey also gave me skills to use on and off the field.”

Do you ever plan on coaching your sport?

“I personally don’t have coaching plans but definitely want to stay involved in the sport somehow. I look forward to coming back to campus after I graduate next spring to meet the new field hockey players and tell them about my college field hockey experience during the alumni events.”

If you could play for any pro team who would you play for?

“I’d play football for the New York Giants because I love Saquon Barkley or the USA field hockey team.”

Who was your role model senior when you were a freshman at Susquehanna?

“My role model was Julia Hasircolgu because she was a great field hockey player and also such a genuine person and was so fun and easy to be around.”

Why did you decide to play a sport in college and why Susquehanna?

I decided to play field hockey because it was my favorite out of the other sports I played and I chose Susquehanna because the team was so fun and seemed so close. Field hockey was something that also let me get out of my comfort zone and meet new people.”

How do you stay motivated to go to practice without knowing if a season will be played?

“Although it’s difficult to stay motivated I just keep telling myself that our team needs to be ready if or when we get another chance to play in the spring. Luckily our team is very motivated and very eager to start a spring season if possible.”
