ACA Welcomes the Year of the Snake

After six years since the last occurrence, Susquehanna honored the Lunar New Year festival with a celebration on Saturday, February 1. Warmly put together by the Asian Cultural Association (ACA), Miss Li lian Schultz at the Hawk Hub, and  for so many more, the celebration was extremely memorable, and it gave many attendees a long-awaited feeling of home.

Founder and CEO of inclusive AI speaks on racial bias in the digital age at this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Winter Convocation. 
Organized and hosted by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, the MLK Winter Convocation has become a staple within the Susquehanna community. Acting as a kick-off to the spring semester, this yearly event welcomes new and returning students, along with faculty and staff to celebrate the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Selinsgrove, Pa. Former Susquehanna Student Returns, Published and Ready to Share Her Experience

Jessica Nirvana Ram, a Susquehanna 2019 graduate, is an Indo-Guyanese poet. She is the author of the poetry collection “Earthly Gods” (Variant Literature, 2024). Ram gave a public reading from her debut book of poetry “Earthly Gods” at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Lore Degenstein Art Gallery at Susquehanna University. She also taught an SU Slam Master Class in Fisher Hall at 7 p.m.
