The field hockey team lost 2-1 to Dickinson on Wednesday night in the team’s home opener at Sassafras Field in non-conference action.
Susquehanna (1-3) struck first as Emma Campitelli scored in the 25th minute on an assist from Gracie Rousch.
Two second-half goals by the Red Devils (4-0) undid the River Hawks. Erin Liggio scored in the 35th minute while Nicole Uebele provided the winning goal in the 43rd minute.
SU will be back in action at 1 p.m. on Saturday against Washington College for the annual Connie Harnum Memorial Game.
