Susquehanna University’s annual Giving Day — OneSU — will take place on March 11, 2026, begin at midnight, and last for 24 hours.

During this day of collective impact, the campus community will come together with one shared goal: to be one of 858 donors. The number 858 honors Susquehanna’s founding year of 1858 and reflects the power of participation when students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends come together for SU.

OneSU will spotlight student clubs through a new Student Club Challenge. All active clubs on campus were invited to participate, and 15 clubs stepped forward to compete:

  1. Anime & Manga Association
  2. Asian Cultural Association
  3. Association for Women in Sports Media
  4. Black History of SU Project (BHSU)
  5. Geo Club
  6. Interfraternity Council (IFC)
  7. PRSSA
  8. Student Library Advisory Committee (SLAC)
  9. Studio SU
  10. SU Dance Corps
  11. SU EMS Club
  12. SU Paranormal Club
  13. SU Women’s Rugby Club
  14. Ultimate Frisbee Club
  15. Women in Business (WIB) Club

Clubs are fundraising for their programs and initiatives, and the prize money is made possible thanks to a generous gift from alumna and Board of Trustee member, Lisa Ryan Burke ’78.

Winners will be determined by the total number of donors each club secures during the 24-hour period. First place will win $1,000, second place will win $750, and third place will win $500.

In addition, whoever brings in the most individual donors through their personal link will receive $250 to designate to an area on campus that is meaningful to them.

Students can participate by making a gift online or by stopping by the Student Alumni Ambassador table in Mellon Lounge between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to donate and win prizes.

Donors are encouraged to wait until March 11 to make donations in order for it to count towards the challenge prizes.

Help support these clubs in their OneSU debut!
