You may have seen the video of four guys suddenly bursting into song in Mellon Lounge on Susquehanna’s Instagram account. Cuatro—yes, it’s actually spelled with a C, not a Q—is comprised of four Susquehanna music students who formed a “barbershop quartet” during the fall of 2025.

You might remember seeing them perform the national anthem at the Homecoming Game in October, where they took everyone by surprise with their harmonies and talent. The video of them performing even reached over 35,000 views across TikTok and Instagram. But who exactly are the faces behind Cuatro?

Cuatro is made up of Jack Barr, Jake Novrocki, Nick Pires and Edwin Feijoo, all music students who also have many passions elsewhere. In speaking to each of the members about their time in Cuatro and goals for the group, they were able to tell me individually about themselves and what they personally hope to accomplish in their futures.

Jack Barr is a sophomore finance major with a double minor in the honors program and music performance. Barr is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon on campus. His interests outside of school center around investing, personal finance and fitness. His goal after college is to work in wealth management or financial advising to help people grow their investments and achieve financial independence.

Jake Novrocki is a junior music education major and a member of Phi Mu Delta. His goal is to be a high school music teacher. In addition to music, he says he loves spending time outside, whether that is riding his bike, going to the beach, or enjoying fun Thursday nights at Bots to play trivia.

Nick Pires is a sophomore music and management double major who is also in Tau Kappa Epsilon. He has hopes of a future in the music industry; however, to have a business career as a safety net, he is studying management as well.

Edwin Feijoo is a junior music major and is also a member of Phi Mu Delta. He has aspirations in potentially giving voice lessons in the future and expanding his family business.

Recognizing their joint passion for music and harmony, these four students brought their musical passions together, creating “Cuatro” in the fall of 2025. Just a short time later they were recognized during a rehearsal and asked to sing the national anthem for the homecoming game.

Since then, they have continued to make their mark on campus by performing more national anthems as well as starring in a Valentine’s Day feature video for Susquehanna’s social media platforms.

Their biggest goals are to continue to let their voices and passion for music be known in the hopes that what they have started will continue at Susquehanna long after they have finished their time here.
