Senior forward Carly George dominated with her third double-double of the year in Susquehanna’s dominant 89-39 win against Lycoming in Selinsgrove on Saturday.

George finished the game with 19 points and 14 rebounds. One of the rebounds being George’s 600th of her career. She sits at 603 total rebounds and will try to put up more career milestones as she finishes her college basketball career strong.

Senior forward Julia Roth was the lead scorer in the Riverhawks’ win with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Roth is very close to joining George in the 600 rebound club as she currently sits at 598.

Junior guard Annie Greek also had an impressive day with 13 points while also snagging two rebounds.

The Riverhawks started off strong with a 27-6 score in the first quarter and never looked back, controlling the game on both sides of the ball.

In the second quarter, the Warriors scored their most points in a single quarter with 14, however that didn’t slow down the River Hawks as they entered the locker room with a 50-20 lead.

During halftime, Susquehanna University honored the inductees of the 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Class. Ally Bradley ’13, Jason Eck ’05, Stephen Fischer ’00, Melissa Karschner ’04, Austin Lein ’14, and Joe Rossi ’99 were all honored with a plaque and standing ovation from the O.W. Houts Gymnasium.

Coming out of halftime, the second half was more of the same as the first, as Susquehanna continued to put their foot on the gas offensively. In the third and fourth quarters, the River Hawks outscored Lycoming 39-19.

The Warriors couldn’t seem to guard the paint as Susquehanna had 60 points from under the basket. Susquehanna’s defense was on point Saturday, not allowing a single Lycoming player to score double-digit points.

This was also a big game for Junior guard Tatum Laughard, as late in the fourth quarter with Susquehanna up big, she scored her first points as a Riverhawk with a nice inside layup.

Junior guard Annie Greek also had an impressive day, sinking three three’s and finishing with 13 points while also snagging two rebounds.

It wasn’t just the starters doing it all, the Susquehanna bench got it done too as 27 points came from the subs. They also succeeded on the second try, scoring a total of 28 second chance points.

The win on Saturday marked a season sweep against Lycoming as they continue through the successful season. Previously this season in Williamsport, Susquehanna also defeated by a margin of 50 in a 90-40 blow out.

Susquehanna is now 18-3 with the win, which is good for third in this year’s competitive Landmark Conference. Catholic and Scranton, who are ranked second in the national DIII rankings, remain the two teams above Susquehanna in the Landmark rankings.

The River Hawks will take on one of the two top teams in the Landmark Conference on Wednesday, Feb 11 at 5 p.m. where they head to Catholic for round two. The last time the two teams met, Catholic won in a 66-62 fourth quarter comeback thriller.
