The women’s basketball team defeated Juniata 80-43 at O.W. Houts Gymnasium on Wednesday in the Landmark Conference opener.
With the win, the team is 4-0 for the first time in the Gabby Holko era and for the first time since 2008. The first-year players on this year’s team were 1-year-old in 2008.
Julia Roth led the team (4-0 overall, 1-0 Landmark) with 15 points; Zoie Maffei added 14. Carly George (13 points) also finished in double figures.
