Get Crafty at Creative Space

The Creative Space in Selinsgrove is a community hub dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic expression among residents of all ages.  

The Creative Space provides opportunities for people to explore various art forms including sewing, crochet, knitting, drawing and mixed media crafts. Whether you are just a beginner or an experienced artist, there is something for everyone. 

The space’s regular offerings include daily events, multi-week courses, summer camps, crafting parties and open studio hours. This allows you to choose activities that suit your own specific interests and schedules. 

Located at 201 W. Pine Street, the studio offers an array of classes, workshops and events to engage the local community. This includes a variety of themed events and workshops that cater to different age groups and artistic preferences. 

For instance, some upcoming events include “Roses Wine Glass Mother’s Day Paint Event” on April 23 and “Flower Weaving Craft Class” on April 27 and 30. Some other classes in the upcoming weeks include a “Chicken Painting Class,” “Yarn Butterflies Class,” Botanical Art” and “Gardening Craft Class.” 

They also offer beginner sewing camp and advanced sewing camp workshops.  

These sessions provide step-by-step instructions and all necessary materials, making them accessible to participants of all skill levels. 

Beyond just its classes and events, The Creative Space participates in community activities, demonstrating their commitment to local engagement. The studio’s flexible schedule ensures that community members can easily incorporate creativity in their daily lives.
