On April 6, T-Pain, globally renown singer and songwriter will perform in Weber Chapel.
According to the Student Activities Committee (SAC) Vice President Jake Lanning, T-Pain has been on their radar for multiple years now. As the concert’s date aligns with the 39-year-old musician’s most recent single and his 2023 album, Lanning says that the timing was finally right to get him.
Since November, SAC has been in contact with the rapper’s regional agent; last week finally brought the contract signing, which allowed for the start of ticket sales.
Lanning stressed that the acquisition of T-Pain was, and continues to be, a team effort. He praised his colleagues in SAC, along with the school, for allowing this to be made possible.
Tickets are available for pickup at the ticket booth located in the Degenstein Campus Center. A valid Susquehanna student identification card is required for ticket pickup. Each student is allowed one free ticket to the spring concert.
As more information becomes available, stay up to date on the University’s social media pages, as well as your student email. As Lanning said, “this year’s concert is going to be gas.”
