Upon Susquehanna students’ arrival back from spring break, Nosh has been rebranded as “The New Nosh.”
Nosh is a dining option at Benny’s that serves sandwiches and paninis, including a “your way” section that allows students to customize what goes on their sandwiches. Susquehanna students have differing opinions of this change, some finding it to be an improvement, while others a downgrade.
According to a senior at Susquehanna, she had gotten food from Nosh 4-5 times per week before its rebranding. She expressed her appreciation for the Old Nosh’s vast customizable options, which have become much more restricting. She also commented on the prices, saying, “The pricing, which I didn’t think could get worse, did in fact get a lot worse.”
Similarly, a freshman at Susquehanna also conveyed disappointment regarding Nosh’s increased prices.
She said, “It’s hard to get an actual meal without going over a meal swipe.”
However, she did express satisfaction with the quality of the New Nosh. She said that “the vegetables are fresher than they were before,” and she gets food from Nosh more now than prior to spring break. Another freshman commented on the prices, simply stating “Everything is way too expensive.”
It appears Susquehanna students have conflicting opinions regarding the quality and variety of the New Nosh but are unified in one point; the prices are way too high.
