In honor of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her passion for equality, the Student Government Association and Dean Kracker’s office are co-sponsoring a virtual 5k run. Participants are encouraged to log a total of 87 miles whether it be by biking, walking or running.

The campus kickoff begins Sunday, Nov. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Blough-Weis Library. Registration is available on Sunday in-person or online through Nov. 3. However, students have until February to complete and log their miles on the results page.

The first 30 students to sign up will receive a limited edition SU RBG t-shirt, finisher’s medal and an electronic bib. They will also have their registration fee covered by a private donor.

Upon logging miles, participants will receive a shirt and commemorative medal.
